తెలంగాణ ప‌బ్లిక్ స‌ర్వీస్ క‌మిష‌న్ ద్వారా 79 గ్రేడ్ 2 పోస్టులను డైరెక్ట్ రిక్రూట్ మెంట్ చేసెందుకు ప్ర‌భుత్వం గ్రీన్ సిగ్న‌ల్ ఇచ్చింది. ఫైనాన్షియల్ డిపార్ట్ మెంట్స్ క్లియ‌రెన్స్ ఇచ్చిన అనంత‌రం ఈ ఖాళీల‌ భ‌ర్తీకి  ప్ర‌భుత్వం అనుమ‌తి ఇచ్చింది. డిపార్ట్ మెంట్ లో మ్యాన్ పవర్ తక్కువ ఉందని.. పోస్టుల భర్తీకి అనుమతించాలంటూ టీఎ్‌సబీసీఎల్‌ ఎండీ ప్రభుత్వానికి నివేదించారు. దీన్ని పరిశీలించిన ప్రభుత్వం భర్తీకి ఆమోదం తెలిపింది.

ఎక్సైజ్ శాఖ పరిధిలోని తెలంగాణ స్టేట్ బావ‌రేజెస్ కార్పోరేష‌న్ లిమిటెడ్ లో 78 గ్రేడ్ 2 ఆఫీస‌ర్, ఒక స్టెనోగ్రాఫ‌ర్ పోస్టుల‌ను భ‌ర్తీ చేసెందుకు ప్ర‌భుత్వం నిన్న జీవో జారీ చేసింది. గ్రేడ్ 2 పోస్టుల్లో అసిస్టెంట్ అకౌంటు ఆఫీస‌ర్ 13, అసిస్టెంట్ స్టోర్స్ ఆఫీస‌ర్ 56, డాటా ప్రాసెసింగ్ అసిస్టెంట్ 1 పోస్టులు ఖాళీలు ఉన్నాయన్నారు. స్థానికత‌, రోస్టర్ విధానం ద్వారా ఈ పోస్టుల‌ను భ‌ర్తీ చేయ‌నున్న‌ట్లు తెలంగాణ ఆర్థిక శాఖ సెక్ర‌ట‌రీ శివ శంక‌ర్ ఒక ప్ర‌క‌ట‌న‌ను జారీ చేశారు.

                Nagarkurnool is a city in Telangana , India. It is the business and education center for the surrounding villages and towns. Nagarkurnool is located between 16.48 degrees northern longitude and 78.32 eastern latitude. The town is situated approximately 458.0 m above sea level. History of Nagarkurnool

                Nagarkurnool has a history dating back more than 500 years. One version of the story says that Nagarkurnool was named after the Kings Nagana and Kandana, brothers who ruled the present day Nagarkurnool and surrounding area. The village Naganool (which was named after Nagana) still exists, approximately 1 km southeast of Nagarkurnool.
Around 110 or 120 years ago, Nagarkurnool was a main junction for transport and district headquarters for most of the south Telangana region. Farmers traveling in this area would buy and apply kandena (grease) for their carts. This story says the name of the town comes from the nameKandanool, meaning "he who sells kandena", which eventually became Kurnool and then Nagarkurnool.

                Economy of Nagarkurnool

             More than 70% of the people still earn a living farming. The main crops are castor, sorghum, rice, and maize.

                Politics of Nagarkurnool

             Up to June 2011, Nagarkurnool is a major gram panchayat (centre of local government). Now Andhrapradesh Govt. recognised the town as Municipality. It was the second fully computerized panchayat office in Andhra Pradesh, after Ramachandrapuram, Medak district. Elections are held every 5 years to elect the Sarpanch, who heads up the panchayat. in June 2012 it became the municipality. After turning to municipality the near locations(Uyalawada, Naganool and Endabetla) are include under Nagarkurnool municipality

The present member of the legislative assembly of Nagarkurnool is Dr. Janardhan Reddy Nagam, and the member of parliament is Dr M. Jagannadham. The seat is reserved for scheduled castes. Kuchukulla Damodar Reddy from nagarkurnool was elected chairperson of Mahabubnagar Zilla Parishad. Nagarkurnool is categorized as a Revenue division. There are 72 revenue divisions in Andhra Pradesh.

  • Sri Shaneeswara Temple, NandiWaddemanu, Nagarkurnool.
  • Ramaswamy Temple is one of the oldest temples in the area. A newly built TTD Kalyana mantapam (wedding hall) is on the premises. This temple hosts the Rama Navami and Krishna Janmashtami festival celebrations. During the Sri Rama Navami festival the wedding ceremony of Lord Sri Rama and Seetha is performed every year.
  • Hanuman Temple is located near the Nagar Kurnool Cheruvu (Man Made Lake). This is one of the ancient temples in town.
